About product
Built Around the Surgeon’s Posture
The binocular head tilts anywhere between 0 and 180°, so the surgeon can keep the back straight whether working on a tooth, an ear or an open wound. Eyepiece angle, dioptre correction and interpupillary distance (50–75 mm) are set individually before the case.
Optics and Light
- Five magnification steps – roughly 3.4× to 21×.
- Schott Optical Glass lenses – German optical glass for a bright, true-colour image.
- Fixed or varifocal objective – working distance of about 200–430 mm.
- LED illumination – about 50,000–75,000 lx, rated for at least 50,000 hours.
- Green and orange filters – extra contrast for tissue structures.
Moving the Head
A spring-balanced pantograph arm holds the optics wherever they are released and lets the surgeon reposition them with one hand. The floor stand rolls on four swivel castors, two of them with brakes; ceiling and wall mounts are available for rooms with little floor space.
