Automated Drying and Storage for Four Flexible Endoscopes
Brightfield BFW-4M is an automated cabinet for drying and controlled storage of up to four flexible endoscopes after washing and disinfection. The cabinet dries both the outer surfaces and internal working channels of the stored endoscopes before they are placed into controlled storage.
The storage chamber is made of stainless steel and has dedicated mounting points for four endoscopes. The vertical arrangement keeps the equipment organized inside the chamber during drying and storage.
Four Independent Air Channels
BFW-4M has four independent compressors, with one compressor assigned to each endoscope channel. Air is supplied separately to the connected endoscopes, supporting simultaneous drying of their external surfaces and internal channels.
Controlled Storage Conditions
A microprocessor-based control system monitors the temperature and humidity inside the cabinet. The operating temperature range is 5°C to 50°C, with humidity settings from 30% to 90% and a maximum operating humidity of ≤90%.
Operating parameters are managed through the integrated 4.3-inch LED touchscreen, which provides access to the cabinet controls and current operating information.
HEPA Filtration and UV Treatment
The air supply system includes filtration for the air entering the storage chamber. A HEPA filter is used for fine air filtration, while an integrated ultraviolet lamp provides additional UV treatment.
The UV system has an intensity rate of 14,500 μW.
Electronic Access Control
Access to the cabinet is controlled electronically. Personnel can use a PIN code or RFID card to open the cabinet, providing controlled access to stored endoscopes.
Built-in Process Documentation
A built-in printer produces a record of the cabinet’s operating cycle. Printed records can be used for internal documentation and tracking of endoscope storage procedures.
Construction and Internal Chamber
The external cabinet body is made of carbon steel with powder coating, while the internal storage chamber is manufactured from stainless steel.
The cabinet has a single door and a vertical configuration that accommodates up to four flexible endoscopes.
