Room Disinfection Using Dry Aerosol Technology

Dr. Fogg is an aerosol generator for treating air and surfaces in indoor spaces. The system operates with hydrogen peroxide solutions containing silver ions, OXIDAG™. The liquid is atomized into 5–20 µm particles, forming a dry aerosol that spreads evenly throughout the room.

This spraying method helps treat not only exposed surfaces but also hard-to-reach and remote areas, including spaces behind equipment, corners and other locations that are difficult to access during manual disinfection.

How Dr. Fogg Works

The OXIDAG™ solution is supplied to the spraying system and converted into a fine aerosol. Particles measuring 5–20 µm remain suspended in the air for an extended period and spread throughout the room, coming into contact with surfaces and air.

Particle size plays an important role in aerosol distribution: the fine particle fraction moves more effectively into hard-to-reach areas and covers a larger volume of the room.

Programmable Disinfection Modes

The built-in microcomputer supports programming of different treatment modes. Current and preset parameters are displayed on the device screen, allowing the operator to check the settings before starting the cycle.

Design for Use in Different Spaces

Dr. Fogg is mounted on a mobile trolley with wheels for moving the device between rooms. If required, the generator can be used separately from the wheeled base as a tabletop device.

The design includes additional cooling for intensive operation, vibration protection and protection against reaching the dew point.

OXIDAG™ Solution

The generator uses OXIDAG™ solutions based on hydrogen peroxide with silver ions. Available concentrations are 2%, 3%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 12%. The solution is supplied in 5-litre canisters.

After application, hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen, in accordance with the operating principle of disinfection based on an oxidizing agent.
