Drying and Controlled Storage of Four Flexible Endoscopes

Brightfield BFW-4L is an automated cabinet for drying and controlled storage of up to four flexible endoscopes after washing and disinfection. The cabinet provides separate connections for four endoscopes and supports drying of both their external surfaces and internal working channels.

The entire cabinet body is made of stainless steel, including the internal storage chamber. This construction is suitable for clinical environments where the cabinet requires regular cleaning and maintenance.

One Compressor with Four Separate Channels

BFW-4L uses one compressor to supply air through four separate channels. Each connected endoscope has its own air channel for drying the internal working channels and external surfaces.

The four-channel configuration keeps the connections organized while a single air supply system serves all four endoscope positions.

Microprocessor-Controlled Storage Conditions

A microprocessor monitors the temperature and humidity inside the storage chamber. The operating temperature range is 5°C to 50°C, while humidity can be set from 30% to 90%, with a maximum operating humidity of ≤90%.

Control is carried out through a 4.3-inch color touchscreen LCD with an IPS matrix and a resolution of 480 × 272 pixels.

HEPA Filtration and UV Treatment

The air treatment system includes a G4 pre-filter and a medical-grade HEPA filter with 0.3 μm filtration. The HEPA filter has a filtration efficiency of 99.999%.

An integrated UV-C bactericidal lamp provides additional ultraviolet treatment. The specified UV intensity rate is 14,500 μW.

Four Endoscope Positions

The internal chamber has mounting points for four flexible endoscopes. Each endoscope is positioned separately, keeping the equipment organized throughout the drying and storage process.

Stainless Steel Construction

Both the external body and internal chamber of the BFW-4L are made of stainless steel. The cabinet has a single door and a vertical construction with four endoscope storage positions.

Mechanical Access Control

BFW-4L uses a mechanical lock for access to the storage chamber. This configuration provides a straightforward access system without electronic identification.
