Brightfield BF120 Powers Hands-On Operative Endoscopy Training in Ukraine

Three Days of Intensive Endoscopy Education

The educational program was delivered in cooperation with Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University and Horizons Medical Center, bringing academic expertise and clinical experience together in one training environment.

The first day took place in the modern conference facilities of Horizons Medical Center in Lviv. Participants attended presentations and professional discussions covering the technical requirements of endoscopic operating rooms, endoscopic instruments, intervention techniques, and clinical decision-making.

Over the following two days, the training moved to the university’s simulation operating rooms, where physicians practiced endoscopic interventions using biological models.

Working in small groups under the supervision of experienced trainers, participants had the opportunity to refine instrument handling, practice operative techniques, and explore approaches to managing potential complications.

This simulation-based format allowed physicians to develop practical experience in conditions closely resembling real surgical procedures, without exposing patients to procedural risks.
