Brightfield 4K laparoscopic workstation with video camera, LED light source, insufflator, irrigation pump and medical monitor

2026 marks a new manufacturing milestone for Brightfield Ukraine: testing and the launch of serial production of complete laparoscopic workstations and their individual modules at the company’s own production facility in Ukraine. The workstation integrates the BF-VC-4K video camera, BRF-L LED light source, BF-Pump irrigation pump, BF-I/A irrigator-aspirator and BF-In CO₂ insufflator on a locally manufactured medical trolley.

2026: A New Milestone for Brightfield Ukraine Manufacturing

In 2026, Brightfield Ukraine enters a new stage of medical equipment manufacturing with the testing and launch of serial production of complete laparoscopic workstations and their individual functional modules at its own production facility in Ukraine.

The production program covers the entire workstation configuration: a 4K endoscopic video camera, LED light source, irrigation pump, irrigator-aspirator, CO₂ insufflator and the medical trolley used to accommodate these devices.

Both the laparoscopic workstation and its principal equipment modules are manufactured in Ukraine by Brightfield Ukraine. The project brings together essential technologies for minimally invasive surgery within one coordinated manufacturing and equipment integration program.

The complete workstation is intended for hospitals, surgical departments and operating rooms performing laparoscopic and other minimally invasive endoscopic procedures.

From Individual Devices to a Complete Laparoscopic Workstation

The Brightfield production program for 2026 includes the manufacture, assembly, integration and testing of the functional modules that make up the complete laparoscopic workstation.

Each module performs a specific function during surgery. Together, the devices provide high-resolution visualization, illumination, CO₂ insufflation, irrigation and aspiration within one organized equipment configuration.

The system incorporates five specialized medical devices and a mobile trolley, with equipment placement and connections arranged for convenient operation in the surgical environment.

Manufacturing and integrating the equipment at Brightfield Ukraine’s own facility represents an important step toward serial production of complete laparoscopic systems.

Five Essential Modules Manufactured by Brightfield Ukraine

1. BF-VC-4K — 4K Ultra HD Endoscopic Video Camera

The Brightfield BF-VC-4K is the main visualization module of the laparoscopic workstation, providing high-resolution imaging during minimally invasive surgical procedures.

The camera delivers 4K Ultra HD video output at 3840 × 2160 pixels, allowing the surgical team to examine anatomical structures and monitor instrument movement in real time.

Its camera head and control unit provide adjustable brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, gain and other image parameters. The system also includes image freezing, orientation adjustments, file playback and video output interfaces for connection to external displays.

Key technical features:

  • 4K Ultra HD video output: 3840 × 2160 pixels.
  • Endoscopic scene modes for different clinical applications.
  • Adjustable image parameters and color settings.
  • Photo and video recording with external storage options.
  • DVI, HDMI 2.0 and SDI video output interfaces.

The BF-VC-4K provides the imaging foundation of the complete workstation, supporting detailed visualization during laparoscopic procedures.

2. BRF-L — LED Endoscopic Light Source

The Brightfield BRF-L delivers controlled illumination of the operative field during rigid endoscopic procedures.

Its 80 W LED module produces a luminous flux of 3000 lumens at a color temperature of 5000 K, providing stable white illumination through an endoscopic light guide.

Manual brightness adjustment with digital indication allows the illumination level to be adapted to the procedure. Active air cooling and protective functions contribute to stable operation during extended use.

Key technical features:

  • 80 W LED module.
  • 3000 lm luminous flux.
  • 5000 K color temperature.
  • LED service life of at least 50,000 hours.
  • Manual brightness adjustment with digital indication.

Manufactured by Brightfield Ukraine, the BRF-L complements the BF-VC-4K camera by providing the illumination required for endoscopic visualization.

3. BF-Pump — Endoscopic Irrigation Pump

The Brightfield BF-Pump provides controlled fluid delivery during endoscopic diagnostic and surgical procedures.

Its adjustable irrigation pressure and flow enable medical personnel to configure fluid delivery according to the requirements of the selected procedure.

The device is designed for applications including hysteroscopy, cystoscopy and arthroscopy, where irrigation contributes to visualization and the creation or maintenance of the required working conditions.

Key technical features:

  • Pressure adjustment range: 15–400 mmHg.
  • Fluid flow adjustment: 0.1–1.0 L/min.
  • Continuous operating mode.
  • Noise level of 60 dB or less.
  • Compact control unit for installation within an endoscopic workstation.

The BF-Pump represents a dedicated irrigation device within the Brightfield equipment range and forms part of the locally manufactured workstation configuration.

4. BF-I/A — Irrigator-Aspirator for Laparoscopy

The Brightfield BF-I/A combines irrigation and aspiration functions for controlled fluid management during laparoscopic surgical interventions.

The system enables fluid to be delivered to the operative field and removed through suction when required. These functions assist with rinsing the surgical area and maintaining visibility during instrument manipulation.

Adjustable positive and negative pressure parameters allow the irrigation and aspiration functions to be configured according to the procedure.

Key technical features:

  • Irrigation pressure: 75–375 mmHg.
  • Aspiration pressure: −375 to −75 mmHg.
  • Irrigation flow: at least 1000 mL/min.
  • Aspiration flow: at least 1500 mL/min.
  • Integrated irrigation and aspiration functions within one control unit.

The BF-I/A provides the laparoscopic workstation with a dedicated solution for fluid supply and suction during minimally invasive procedures.

5. BF-In — CO₂ Insufflator

The Brightfield BF-In provides controlled carbon dioxide delivery into the abdominal cavity during laparoscopic surgery.

Adjustable gas flow and pressure settings enable medical personnel to establish and maintain pneumoperitoneum, creating the working space required for endoscopic visualization and instrument manipulation.

The insufflator incorporates gas heating and a touchscreen interface for monitoring and adjusting operating parameters.

Key technical features:

  • Output pressure adjustment: 5–30 mmHg.
  • Specified gas flow rate: 52 L/min.
  • Pressure adjustment accuracy: ±1 mmHg.
  • Integrated gas heating.
  • 7-inch touchscreen control interface.

The BF-In is the gas management module of the complete Brightfield laparoscopic workstation, working alongside the imaging, illumination and fluid management equipment.

Endoscopic Equipment Trolley — The Foundation of the Complete System

Brightfield Ukraine also manufactures the medical trolley used to accommodate the complete laparoscopic workstation.

The trolley serves as the structural basis of the system, providing organized placement for the camera control unit, LED light source, irrigation pump, irrigator-aspirator, CO₂ insufflator and associated equipment.

Its mobile construction facilitates positioning within the operating room, while the arrangement of shelves and equipment connections helps maintain access to the principal control modules.

Key design advantages:

  • Construction intended for the placement of medical equipment.
  • Modular shelf arrangement for individual devices.
  • Mobile design with caster wheels.
  • Organized placement of equipment and associated cables.
  • Integration of the principal laparoscopic modules within one workstation.

Manufacturing the equipment trolley alongside the individual functional modules allows Brightfield Ukraine to provide a complete workstation configuration rather than a collection of separate devices.
